About Me

I am a STOTT PILATES® certified Matwork instructor, POLESTAR® Reformer instructor, APPI Spinal Rehabilitation specialist and LSSM Soft Tissue therapist practising in the Winchester, Andover and Stockbridge area of Hampshire.  I offer a range of Matwork group classes for all levels and private 1 to 1 sessions in Matwork, Reformer or Rehabilitation.

I am the founder of Keep Moving Pilates and have over ten years' experience teaching Pilates. My goal as a teacher is to help people develop a deeper understanding of their bodies so they can move better, reduce pain, and perform at their best in everyday life or their chosen sport.

My background in movement began at the professional dance school Elmhurst, where I trained from the age of 11 to 16. I was first introduced to Pilates, aged 11, by the school's Head of Dance. This early exposure, alongside intensive dance training, developed my awareness of posture, movement quality, and the importance of strong foundations in the body.

After leaving dance to pursue a career in music, and several years of desk-based work in London, I experienced first-hand the physical toll of modern working life — which ultimately led me back to Pilates, and to training as an instructor.

My teaching is shaped both by my dance background and by years of working with clients experiencing pain, postural issues, or movement limitations, as well as those who are already active and want to improve their efficiency, strength, and control to support their training and performance.

I'm particularly interested in helping people change how they move in everyday life, not just during a session. Through consistent practice, clients develop greater body awareness, control over their movement patterns, and ultimately strength and confidence - leading to reduced pain, better performance in their chosen sport, and improved overall wellbeing.

I founded Keep Moving Pilates to provide a supportive environment where people can focus on themselves, reconnect with their bodies, and develop healthier movement habits. My philosophy for living is to 'keep moving' because I believe that how we move plays a fundamental role in living a happy, healthy life.

Just attended my first class with Chloe in Longparish. She is really good at explaining what is needed and uses plenty of equipment and variations to keep you interested: the hour flew by! I would heartily recommend this class.

Classes

Group Classes

Group classes last one hour. There are on average 8-12 people to ensure I have time for each individual.

You can join a class anytime of year as the classes are not run it terms. Normal timetable continues during school holidays.

1 to 1 Private Sessions

I will create a programme just for you; utilising the breadth of the repertoire to accommodate your strengths and weaknesses.

To begin a 1 to 1 programme, you will be required to have a 90 minute introductory session including a posture analysis to allow me to assess your needs and create a dedicated exercise programme.

Private Small Groups

If you want the attention and dedicated programme of a 1 to 1 session but would like to exercise with your partner, a small group of friends or your family; I am happy to accommodate small groups in a private session.

As with my 1 to 1 sessions, each person in the group will be required to have an introductory session including a posture analysis to allow me to give each member of the group the personalised experience of a 1 to 1 session.

Specialist Programmes

Pre & Post-Natal

For expectant mothers and new mothers, these classes will help you stay physically active and strong but comfortable during your pregnancy and help you regain your pre-pregnancy shape after. The programme focuses on abdominal strengthening to prepare pre-natal bodies for post-natal recovery and to reactivate and strengthen the deep stabilising muscles of post-natal bodies. Learn how to support your changing body.

Active Aging

PILATES is perfect for the older exerciser because it helps improve postural problems, increases core strength, stability and peripheral mobility, helps prevent injuries, enhances functional fitness as a whole, improves balance, coordination and circulation, heightens body awareness and is low impact on the joints. This programme focuses on keeping your spine young and mobile, maintaining flexibility and developing core strength and stability so you can keep moving with confidence.

Power Pilates

Aimed at those in physical professions; this programme has a strong focus on alignment to reduce the potential for injury and I will work on your functional strength by emphasising endurance and control, and incorporating weights, to increase power.
